Detwiler Fire Tour Photos

CAL FIRE and the Sheriff's office took the County Supervisors on a tour today, July 21st, of some of the areas affected by the Detwiler Fire.

We stopped for a snack in Catheys Valley and saw some of the portable generators and wire that PG&E has brought into the area to supply emergency power.

After dropping off the other Supervisors, CAL FIRE and the Sheriff's office took me to the top of Telegraph hill to see the conditions and fuel breaks there.

Here is a photo I took of our guides, Isaac Sanchez (CAL FIRE) and Jennifer Lobaugh (Sheriff's Office) near the top of Telegraph Hill.

This picture is looking west from the top of Telegraph Hill.

The road goes ever on and on.

We also swung by Rancheria Creek Rd. All is good in that area.
